woah guys, look who's still alive haha. I'm sorry for my absence but I caught the most horrible flu ever and have knocked out for over a week. The basis for piece of work is one of my first mandelbulb 3D renders, I'm still pretty new to this whole fractal stuff but it has inspired me to do some crazy new stuff. So I was messing around in M3D and after a while the fractal appeared to look like some sort of ancient temple. Thus I used some good old Photoshop-magic and then this happend :'D Also since the final piece kinda reminds me of Prince of Persia (2008) which i just played through for like the fourth time, have some fitting music: [link]

Software used: Adobe Photoshop CS5, Mandelbulb 3D, Apophysis 7x v15
Time taken: ca. 2 days
personal photostock used for trees & clouds

BTW Is anyone interested in a walkthrough?

I actually just picked up mandelbulb 3D and I haven't been able to come up with anything this good, so I would love a walkthrough, if you have time.

Dragons Metropolis
